Seattle School of T'ai Chi Chuan

Instructors

David Goodell, an STCC instructor for 27 years, was introduced to T'ai Chi through his participation in the Arica meditation work presented by Oscar Ichazo for the clarification of consciousness. He studied Classical Five-Element Acupuncture since 1985 with JR and Judy Worsley, and maintains a private practice at the Center for Classical Five-Element Acupuncture on Queen Anne.

Because he loves teaching and has seen so many of his patients become much healthier due to their T'ai Chi practice, David founded the Seattle branch of the STCC in January, 2005.

Elizabeth Goldberg has studied T'ai Chi in Milwaukee, San Francisco, Zhejiang China and Seattle. She prefers The School of T'ai Chi Chuan (STCC) for its clear, concise, body to body teaching method. She has participated in the Arica meditation work, began studying Classical Five-Element Acupuncture with the Worsley in 1989 and has maintained a private practice in Seattle since 1992. Elizabeth has come through a third recurrence of an aggressive breast cancer and has chosen the essential medicine of happiness, along with cutting edge allopathic treatment and the refuge of T'ai Chi as her healing path.

Amy Sedgwick began her study with the School of T'ai Chi Chuan in 2005. She is a student of Feng Shui, a member of Toastmasters, and avid salsa dancer. She is also a professional documentary film maker and video producer.

Linda Jean Shepherd, Ph.D. learned the Yang-style short form many years ago, then began to study T'ai Chi in 2005 with Judyth Weaver. She has studied with the School of T'ai Chi Chuan since 2007. Linda is the author of Lifting the Veil: The Feminine Face of Science, and is an adjunct faculty member of the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Our teachers wish to see the benefits of this timeless art more widely enjoyed.
